Leaked price info: Sigma FP to cost around $2,000

Nokishita leaked the Sigma FP price info:

The retail price of “SIGMA fp” to be reserved this week seems to be 220,000 yen including body tax and 264,000 yen including 45mm lens kit. #rumor

Sigma fp accessories are listed on the sales price list of domestic mass merchandisers.
Scheduled to be released on October 25 [HG-11: 6600 yen including tax, LVF-11: 33000 yen, BPL-11: 8800 yen, CR-41: 4400 yen, CN-21: 1760 yen, BC-71: 11000 yen, SAC-7P: 6600 yen]. Scheduled to be released in November 2019 [HG-21: 11000 yen]. #rumor

Why Panasonic S1H is the best hybrid camera? ( + S1H vs GH5 High ISO)

After the Panasonic Lumix S1H hands-on video which was based on a pre-production sample, I’ve spent some more time with a Production S1H with production firmware. And want to tell you why I think the S1H is the best hybrid camera in the market.
And for those of you who are currently shooting with GH5 and thinking of getting a S1H, I also did a side by side comparison video of the S1H with the GH5, from ISO 800 all the way to both camera’s maximum ISO.

Sigma FP will be launched on October 20

As promised by Kazuto Yamaki when he presented the fp, Sigma just published the 3D appearance data of the Sigma fp and its Sigma accessories.
The purpose of such publication is to facilitate the design of fp accessories by third parties and therefore speed up their release, with a view to creating as large an ecosystem as possible as quickly as possible. This is, pushed to a further level, the strategy pursued by Sony when they made the main E mount specifications available to third parties.
Available for download (without any prior requirement) tare .step files. STEP stands for “STandard for the Exchange of Product model data” a.k.a. ISO 10303. It can represent 3D objects and related information in CAD/CAM software. *.step files are recognized by programs such as Dassault Systemes SolidWorks, IMSI TurboCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360.
In addition to this official communication, an unofficial but well-informed source, photographer Kimio Tanaka, just twitted that the Sigma fp should be launched around the 20th of October.
