Panasonic has just released a new major firmware for their Panasonic Lumix S1h which comes with dozens of changes and bug fixes. So in this video I am going to show you the five most important changes that comes with this new firmware!
While the originally planned ProRes Raw update has been delayed, there are enough changes that should make all S1H owners happy.

My review of the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art L mount lens. In short, this is an excellent super wide zoom lens. It’s sharp, weather sealed, constant F2.8 and well built. Available for both L mount and Sony E mount.
Ultra-wide angle lenses are challenging to use for video, but can create dramatic effects. We review the Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine lens, which has the same optical formula as the Laowa 12mm F2.8 Zero-D for full frame still cameras.

Having considered all these factors, and looked at how they apply to different types of photography, it’s difficult to announce a clear winner. It’s certainly not as simple as adding up how many times we’ve recommended each model, since it’s unlikely any one person is going use their camera for every one of these types of shooting.
With that critical caveat, the Sony a7 III remains our generic recommendation, simply because it’s good at just about everything. But it’s a much narrower margin over the Nikon Z6 than when we last pondered this question, and that still doesn’t mean it’ll be the best for you.
Seems like Dpreview didn’t like the S1 that much 🙂
